A False Dream

One night, you are sound asleep, tucked in your bed enjoying a peaceful sleep. Suddenly, you wake up in a totally different period in time. You open your eyes to find the bedroom you once were sleeping in not long ago to being totally the opposite. You open the curtains to a sight of gentleman wearing trenchcoats, top hats, and some walking with canes. The women appear to be dressed in Victorian attire, totally shocking to your discovery. Is this just a weird dream? Or is it reality? Have you just experienced time travel? All of this will become clearer as the story progresses. (Have fun. This is my first go with developing a scenario, so I apologise)
