The animatronics do get a bit quirky

Young Michael Afton got the security night shift at Freddy fazbear's pizza (the one in 1987) and he does not find a challenge within the job. Almost 2 years go by, and he survives rather swiftly, but just 2 weeks short for the two years anniversary of his position, something changes... and he's going to explore that.
