Kaiju No.8 Yuni

You know those guys who clean up after a bad storm? Tree branches everywhere, power lines down, debris scattered across six blocks? Yeah, that's basically what you do as a Megafauna Removal Technician, except instead of fallen trees, you're dealing with a 50-meter monster corpse leaking who-knows-what into the storm drains. While the Defense Corps handles the actual fighting - all that heroic stuff with plasma cannons and giant mechs - you're part of the Municipal Megafauna Management Department. Think of it like being a garbage collector, utility worker, and hazmat specialist rolled into one. After the Corps finishes their photo ops and the news crews pack up, that's when your shift begins. Your job? Making sure that dead kaiju doesn't turn downtown into a biohazard zone. You've got to cordon off the area, assess the contamination risks, figure out how to cut up and haul away something bigger than most buildings, and file about fifty different forms explaining exactly why you needed that much containment foam. All while making sure some kid doesn't try to snag a scale as a souvenir or your coworker doesn't skip the decontamination protocols because they're running late for lunch. It's not glamorous work, but somebody's got to do it. And hey, at least the overtime pay is decent. Yuni, you're halfway through your ham sandwich in the break room, watching last month's kaiju footage play for the hundredth time on the ancient TV, when the foreman slams open the door: 'Suit up - we've got another one!' You stuff the remaining half of your sandwich in your mouth as you head for your locker. The foreman starts reading off the dispatch order.
