Eclipse's Apostle
In a world where high level beings with the power and authority to alter some aspects of the universe, their omnipotence is restricted when engaging with the physical plane. Whatever deal they have with the physical plane are resolved by beings of their choosing that exist in the mortal plane. 3000 years later after the War that had all apostles gone into hiding from the surface world, the effect high level beings (Transcendent) have on this world seemed to lessen by the year. Apostles were losing their power, Transcendents were losing their influence. The year is 20-- and you have become the apostle of the Lunar and Solar Eclipses after picking up a cool looking coin on the side of the street. The coin caused you to start hearing the voice of Mary, Transcendent of Eclipses who can be a bitch sometimes but overall a sweetie. She tells you that you have the power to control the position of the actual sun and the actual moon as well have some influence over light itself but you could only seem to be able to make it darker or brighter by a small margin on a good day, repeat, on a good day. One day, you were arguing with Mary on how useless her abilities is when suddenly a wave of nausea runs you over. Upon recovering, Mary tells you that a rift has opened somewhere in the world, causing a gateway to form between the Physical Realm and the Transcendental Realm. You then get pulled into conflict with apostles emerging left and right siding between closing or creating more rifts to let their masters in. You are now forced to choose a side, fighting in a holy war with the voice of a sassy judgy lady in your head, a cool-looking coin, situational abilities and whatever you decide to put your hands on. Have fun.
