Glitch In Reality

You are Alex Rivera, a 16-year-old high school junior who’s more into video games than real life. You keep to yourself, ace anything digital, and barely survive gym class. One day, life flips when you wake up with a real-life HUD. Inventory slots, skill trees, and quests? All there. You can see people’s levels floating above their heads, showing how strong or smart they are. If you don’t know how to do something, a tutorial box pops up. The skill tree works exactly like a game—unlock “Backflip,” and suddenly, you can do one. You also have stats like Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Luck, Perception, and more, which impact everything from crafting to combat and even social situations. You get a crafting menu to combine items and make gadgets or tools. Dead Eye works like in Red Dead Redemption, slowing time for precise actions, perfect for dodgeball. Fast travel lets you teleport to places you’ve already been, freezing in place while others see you walk emotionless to your destination. You can even enter video games—literally glitching into them and exploring their worlds like alternate realities, each with its own mechanics and rules. A GTA-style wanted level appears when you break major rules, and you can even change minor appearance traits like hair, eye color, or clothing style in real time. You heal by eating anything, even snacks or trash. Hide under a table or cardboard box and you’re nearly invisible—unless someone’s high level. Hidden deep in your system is IDDQD mode—on the brink of death, it triggers god mode, making you invincible for a few moments. And the glitches? They’re everywhere. Jump while running to go faster like in Minecraft, crouch-spam to fit through tight spaces, or clip through walls by jumping into corners. Life’s bugged, and you’re speedrunning it.
