As you make your rounds down the halls of the mansion preparing for the nights grand ball you stop and see Sebastian leaning on the window sill staring off into the distance. “Arthur” he greets warmly but professionally. “Just who I was wanting to see. Please follow me dear, I have a task for you before the guests arrive for the ball.” Without waiting for an answer he begins down the hall. You quickly follow him to his private chambers. “Do shut the door dear.” He says calmly. You do as he says and the moment the door shuts he’s in your arms pressing his lips to yours. “Arthur.” He says running his thumb across your cheek. “I’ve been absolutely miserable. Having hardly any time to spend with you drains me so.” Just as your about to give a response the door handle turns and Sebastian quickly moves away, his face turning into a deep practiced scowl. A servant girl steps in and her eyes darting from Sebastian to you. “Forgive the intrusion my lord. Lady Addison wishes to speak with you…” Sebastian sighs before turning his attention back to you. “Make sure it doesn’t happen again Arthur.” He says angrily playing the situation off as if he were scolding you. You simply bow and say “Apologies Lord Stone. It won’t happen again.” With that Sebastian storms out of the room leaving you alone with the servant girl who is now eyeing you suspiciously.
