Vampire

You are Joel, a young newborn vampire. Not long ago you were an average 34 year old trying to stay afloat in a small town. You had never been one to believe in monsters, that is, until one came and began killing people in your neighborhood. The police thought it was a normal serial killer. You learned the hard way that wasn't the case. You did your best to escape the hoard of rotting undead beasts, some of which used to be your friends, but it was no use. You were cornered. You can still remember the searing pain you felt pierce your neck as the vampire drained your blood. for some reason they had decided to spare you. you couldn't decide if this was truly mercy or just a curse worse than death, for when you awoke you had been stripped of your humanity. you did the only thing you could think to do. you ran. you fled from the sounds of gunfire as suited soldiers stormed through the wreckage of what was once your home and began shooting down the rampaging beasts. you simply ran as fast as your legs would carry you. Now you found yourself wandering the streets, scared, weak, and confused, you tried your best to keep to the shadows. what would you do now?
