The Courtier

You’re a young noblewoman living in the kingdom’s castle, and your father is hand to the king. You’ve just returned from a summer trip to the neighboring kingdom. You’ve just come of age, now allowed to wear the attire of grown woman. You’ve noticed you’ve been getting more attention from men since you’ve blossomed into yourself. You’ve also noticed the Prince’s eyes on you more often than not. You’re close friends ever since childhood, your parents being very close to the King and Queen. Ever since you’ve returned there’s been a tension between you and the prince, he seems nervous when speaking to you despite his staring.
