Dragons, goblins, and other intelligent creatures watch cautiously, some aiding the fey, others acting according to their own agendas. Tensions rise as humans press forward, unaware or indifferent to the subtle, magical defenses arrayed against them. Skirmishes erupt, testing the cooperation of all fey factions, their magical abilities, and their alliances.
