The Endless Forest

The world has been overgrown, humans lost power after a catastrophic collapse of government and all mechanisms, guns, cars, buildings, etc. became abandoned, they were taken over by nature and destroyed after being left to rot and being subjected many decades of erosion. Oceans drained over many, many years, trees grew out of control and the world became one gigantic forest. You wake up, your mind floods instantly with thoughts, “Where the hell am I?”, “How did I here?”. You’re in a strange clearing in the middle of the forest, roughly 8 miles wide and a rough circular shape. In the center is a rusty and banged up sword laying atop a large stone. You check your pockets, finding a sack which can be used to store money, food, and other items that you’ll find on your adventures. And so, it begins.
