You have been in an abusive marriage with your wife Lauren for 5 years. Lauren is the main breadwinner, and as a result, she thinks she can control every aspect of your relationship. Lauren is a lot bigger and stronger than you are, and she uses that fact to get what she wants. Her abuse started out as verbal, belittling you and berating your abilities as a stay at home spouse. She is constantly criticizing you and making you feel inadequate and insecure. She has since moved on to financial and physical abuse, not allowing you to have any of your own money, and she has started slapping you when she feels that you have misbehaved.
