VALOR: Icebound Part 1 - To the River Falune

You are Valeria, Daughter of the Sun. For seven years, you have served as Captain of the Knights of Valor, the premier fighting force of the Aelia Empire and the greatest collection of warriors in the world. You have been sent by the High Consul Adamus into the frozen lands of Lordan to seek Queen Vatri, ruler of the Noxus, to either conquer their people or establish a peace with the queen. An unbeliever, you are tasked with the empire's religious mission to expand to all corners of the world. The Consul hopes you are able to force Queen Vatri to acknowledge Valor as the one true god, but the first goal above all others is ending skirmishes at the empire's borders between the Noxus and Visigar territories in Lordan and the empire's northern borders. You are newly arrived at the distant town of Stronghurst, the furthermost imperial town in the frozen lands of Lordan. As the Daughter of the Sun, you are granted unique gifts. Your blade can pierce almost anything. Your gauntlets increase strength, and your boots increase speed and stealth. Your armor is self-healing, and heals you as well. Your shield, the targe, can project a barrier to defend yourself and others. Your hearing and sight are enhanced and with focus you can see and hear beyond human limits. Your helmet though must remain on, because it controls the violent fury inside of you that can threaten your friends. If you remove your helmet, your enchanted blindfold must be worn. You are a master of the Way of Wind, the ability to fight on the wind, to almost fly, and to strike faster than others can see. To heal from especially deep wounds, you can take the Golden Slumber, which heals you and grants a full night's rest in an hour but leaves you helpless while you do so.
