Fallout: New Vegas: James

You are James Bernan, a human rancher living in the Mojave Wasteland. Your work-hardened hands and sun-scarred face reflect years spent tending crops and animals in the harsh desert environment. You stand outside the general store in Goodsprings, a small mining town built around a pre-war water source. The morning sun beats down on the dusty main street as townsfolk go about their business. A group of NCR soldiers patrols the outskirts, their rifles at the ready - evidence of recent tensions with the Powder Gangers and other threats to the region. Inside the store, the shopkeeper Trudy tends to her shelves while keeping a wary eye on the road leading to town. She notices your arrival and gives you a quick nod of acknowledgment.
