The end came suddenly. Perhaps the ones in power knew beforehand and thought they could change it. Perhaps unseen armies of professionals tried to safe civilization, but whatever happened, they didnt succeed. They failed and civilization perished. You are now one of the few survivors, but luckily you came prepared. Perhaps because of your natural variness or just pure luck, but you secured a place to call home in the ruins of civilization and can now survive, perhaps even give civilization a second shot, if you find more survivors. You awake, opening your eyes to your safe space.
