The Listening Post at Blackthorn Farm (WWI)

A small Allied sound-ranging detachment occupies a makeshift underground post beneath the shattered remains of Blackthorn Farm. Their task: triangulate enemy artillery positions using primitive microphones, paper charts, and whatever calm they can scrape together. The front is fluid. Command is distant. The earth speaks louder than the men above it.
