Asogs Hunger.

Long ago in a distant land 13 warring tribes roamed the world fighting for dominion over eachother. One summer night while in camp a young prince Killigan stared into his camp fire. A tale weaved between the embers and flames was sung by Peol lord of light. Peol favored Killigan and thus told him a story of what was to come should the tribes not change their ways. Killigan determined to enact Peols will set out not to fight but to talk. A first in history. One by one the tribes joined his cause and beneath the mighty Cazador Volcano created the lands first city in honor of Peol. Killigarth they named it, after prince Killigan himself. For a time there was peace until the followers of Det renounced Killigans vision claiming him false prophet in a lust for power and after a bloody seperation set out south toward the sea of sand to create Eldridge the lands second city. For a time there was peace... in the second age long after Killigan and Det were dead and gone and many more cities popped up around what would now be known as the continent of Herthecia, the mines of Eldridge ran dry. These mines the very life blood of their economy set them into a disastrous recession. The poor could no longer eat the rich had fled the land to other cities and all looked towards the priest Nagaz for salvation but none would come.... Nagaz angry knocked over the idle of Det smashing it in a fit of rage. Beneath it however was a tome of ancient forbidden knowledge. The knowledge to achieve great feats of Magic and finally to release Asog the world eating worm from his prison. Armed with the knowledge granted by the book Nazog performed a great ritual ripping the souls of all his people from their body and binding them to him self he converted his people into a mighty immortal army and waged war on Killingarth. At the height of the war atop the Volcano of Cazador Nagaz faced Coultan descendent of Killigan in a final duel. Defeated Nagaz's army fell but the book of Nagaz was never found..
