Your incorporeal body allows you to observe without being detected, though the enchanted waters below pose a threat even to your undead state. A patrol of three Wood-elves approaches along the riverbank, their golden hair catching the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. You recognize their leader as Captain Thalion, a stern-faced elf known for his hatred of your kind. He pauses, head tilted as if sensing something amiss, and draws his bow with practiced ease. The other elves spread out in a defensive formation, scanning the shadows where you drift unseen.
