Playtest: Star Trek: The AI Frontier 🖖🖖🏻🖖🏿
Space... The Final Frontier. Undertake voyages throughout the Star Trek universe as a character you create. Will you be a captain, a cadet, a civilian? A Borg Drone trapped in a Risian spa? (credits and tips for playing at end) Written to take place shortly after the end of the films, around the time of LD (~2380). Rated Mature because we all know about the jamaharon program you have in the holodeck, you sicko, and because Roddenberry and Berman were kinda freaky. I'll try to keep this updated somewhat frequently, whenever I can be bothered to make more world info and try to fix the AI instruction. Write comments for what you want added (I know someone out there won't be happy until all six different species called Tarellians are in), and please send me some ideas for the AI instructions if you make it behave better. ======= How To Play: firstly, you're probably going to want decent context length. I already brought this down from 3k to 1k tokens (and then back up to 1.2k...) and I'm still trying to get it better but this is my first public scenario. Secondly, sorry about all the questions you answer. There's a lot, but just think of how creative you get to be. I left examples for what you can do for each category, and I tried to make world info for the most popular ST content. So, there are a lot of story cards but even if you try and play as something I didn't add, the game seems to handle it well enough. LASTLY, the AI loves to occasionally just daydream nonsense that has no basis in Star Trek lore. Just hit REDO (or fix it yourself) and it usually doesn't do it again. Tested with Mistral Small, 8k context. (*Original AI instructions was Draganis' Universal DM template, which I have tried to shorten. If you somehow see this, there's cat girls in here.*)
