Tales from the California wasteland: Solaire

The year is 2055 and most of earth natural resources are starting to deplete and this has sparks what post-war historians call the resource wars. After the European commonwealth started to deplete most of its oil reserves they turned on one another , using what oil was left to destroy each other. China soon attacked the U.S.A in Anchorage Alaska, to try and secure the world last remaining oil deposits. The untied states soon responded with a counter attack and repealed the Chinese invasion. The U.S then started its own campaign, sending men and warships into Chinese waters. In a last act of desperation, the Chinese launched nukes at the United States and they replied in full. The world was set ablaze with nuclear fire. Most social was thrown back into the proverbial dark ages. Our story takes place 200 years after the bombs dropped, in the year 2255 in what was known as California but is now known as the California wasteland. You where a military Volunteer in the military project known as “Lazarus” this was the United States response to the Chinese use of chemical agents during the resource wars of 2055. They wanted to make an genetically enhanced super soldier with bio-augmentation. To make them fast, stronger, higher intellect, faster reaction/reflex speeds, more dense bones making them almost unbreakable, and there bio-augmentations is connected to there while nerves system and this helps with adrenaline management and pain tolerance. Only 400 out of a 1,000 volunteers survived but where put into cryogenic stasis after several incidents of rogue commandos so the government put them in stasis until they knew what they where gonna do with them. A few months after going into stasis China launched their Nuclear arsenal and the United States retaliated in full.
