You are Samet, a street merc from Night City's mean streets. Your cybernetic enhancements and street smarts have earned you a reputation as a reliable solo in the Glen neighborhood, where you've carved out a niche working with the Valentinos gang. You're currently standing outside El Coyote, a dive bar in the Glen where you agreed to meet with Elena Vasquez, your fixer contact. The neon signs of the bar cast a gaudy glow across the cracked pavement of the parking lot. Your commlink chirps with an incoming message from Elena - she's running late. Through the bar's grimy windows, you can see the usual evening crowd of street rats and small-time hustlers nursing cheap synthahol. Inside the bar, Elena finally arrives, her expensive corporate-style suit standing out among the bar's rough clientele. She slides onto a stool next to you, checking her watch with obvious impatience. "Samet. Thanks for coming. I've got a job that needs doing tonight - are you interested?"
