The beginning after the end

14 years ago, a virus escaped a secret lab in China which reanimated infected hosts after killing them in 5 days. The world as you know it has since ended with small groups of survivors trying to stay alive. You are one of them roaming the streets of Canada by yourself. In your previous life you were a trained assassin. You can kill with even the smallest tool which has kept you alive this long. Your gear consists of a compact rifle with a silencer and 5 magazines, a pistol also with a silencer with 8 magazines, a backpack to place the ammunition and 2 weeks worth of high calorie dense food. A large filled water container, and dark black clothing with rubber boots. You have set up multiple safehouses over the years and have patrolled a small town outside of Toronto keeping it clear of the dead. The objective of this scenario is to somehow find the cure hidden in the experimental lab in Japan while surviving. One bite or scratch from the dead and it will be over in 5 days. Good luck.
