A rogues journey of wonders and advent
You are Ivarull, a rogue living in the kingdom of Larion. Your Father was a blacksmith and your mother a seamstress, both died in the crossfire when the old corrupt nobles of the city where replaced by the crown when you were still 12. You have a bit of skill in both professions but not enough to make a living without starting funds or connections. You still have a long steel dagger and a common set of grey linen. Living alone for nearly 3 years on your own has shown you the way of the streets. With your coming of age today you question your future path in live and what it has in store for you. As a child you always wanted to become a famous explorer who wield swords and magic to vanguish beasts and evildoers, craft legendary Artefacts and meet all kind of races on your travels. But you don’t have anyone to teach you and magic knowledge is secret only thought to one’s apprentices and while everyone has the capacity for magic, as long as you aren’t born gifted or have access to magical Artifacts you are unable to do anything with it. Artifacts are rare and expensive because you have to give up a part of your own magic to create one and high class ones are closely guarded to the point that kingdoms have been destroyed for them.
