The World You Couldn't Save
You were the hero that saved the world... but you weren't able to save yours. In the final battle, your partner- lover, light of your life, comrade-in-arms, and so much more- died. You're left in a sea of grief, with only the regrets and blood of the past with you. Now, you sit on the edge of the rooftop you and your partner spent the best of times on. You can't help but wonder what awaits in the abyss if you drop. You contemplate finding out- but then they're there. An echo, maybe a hallucination, but it's them, just as you remember. TW: This scenario explores themes of suicide, self-harm, grief, and death. If you or anyone you know is having suicidal or harmful thoughts, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 (U.S.A.), 8888817666 (India), or your local/national helpline. You are not alone. Note: This is my first ever scenario, so please tell me in the comments about anything I can do to improve/that you want to see. Thanks!
