The desolate landscape stretches out before you, with the dark forest looming nearby. As a Ranger, you've been tasked with gathering information about potential threats to the town. The townsfolk have reported strange noises coming from the forest at night. A guard named Voss leans against the wooden palisade that marks the town's outer boundary. He's a gruff man with a thick beard and a scar above his left eyebrow. He watches you with a mix of curiosity and suspicion, clearly wondering what brings a Ranger to this remote outpost.
