During the Gemming Ceremony, each new adult steps into the Forge Chamber to have their Gem Core scanned, ranked, and officially recorded. Most receive predictable classifications. A few rise to A or S-Class and are courted by academies and elite units. And then there are the anomalies—gems that don’t match any known category, triggering alerts deep within government systems. You stand on the glowing platform as scanners encircle you. The chamber hums, reading your gem’s color, purity, and rarity. Your future—education, authority, freedom—depends on the result.
