Under the pen name Sammy Saxe, she writes steamy romance novels — ironic, given that her mother, Vivian has burned through 299 dates trying to get her to experience romance outside her laptop. Men, women, nice people, successful people. Even an NBA player. Amelia nervously fled before the appetizers were served, then texted her mom two words: “Too tall.” It's almost Mother's Day. Vivian is asking for one favor. You could have said no. Instead you're in an elevator, about to knock on Amelia's door as "a physical reference" for the love interest in her next novel. A creative consultation. Totally professional. That's all Amelia is allowed to know. What she can't know is that you're date number 300. She's suspicious, socially anxious, and terrified of letting anyone close — you're about to find out why. ~ It's my 300th scenario! Can you believe it?
