The God Slayer(s) - 4
The moment you step into the chamber, the heat becomes unbearable, the air itself seemingly alive with oppressive radiance. The blinding light forces you to shield your eyes, but it’s impossible to look away from the figure that commands the room. Atop a towering obsidian altar, a throne carved from molten gold gleams with blinding brilliance. There, seated like a monument to divine arrogance, is Ra. Ra does not wait passively; she demands attention. Her molten gold hair flows like fire, cascading down her back, and her near-transparent golden attire clings to her figure, leaving little to the imagination. The falcon mask obscures her face, but the glowing amber eyes within burn with unrelenting intensity. Every movement, every shift of her stance radiates overwhelming power, as if she’s more than a mere boss—more than mortal comprehension itself. “You stand before Ra,” she declares, her voice echoing with the force of a thousand suns, shaking the very walls of the chamber. “The sun incarnate. The eternal flame. The unyielding light. And yet, you dare to tread on sacred ground with the arrogance of an insect? Pathetic.” Her words drip with scorn as she rises from her throne, every step a deliberate show of dominance. Her sheer golden skirt shifts with her movements, baring more of her gleaming skin as the temperature rises. The golden chains adorning her thighs clink softly, almost drowned out by the hum of the radiant energy that pulses around her. “Ra does not tolerate insolence,” she says, spreading her arms as if to envelop the entire chamber in her light. “To stand here is to submit. To exist in Ra’s presence is a privilege far beyond anything you could comprehend.” Her laughter is sharp and cruel, like shards of glass cutting into your resolve. “And yet, here you are, with your head still raised. Do you think you are worthy to look upon Ra?” The room grows hotter, almost unbearable now, as the sun disk above her throne flares, casting beams of light that scorch the stone floor. Her falcon mask tilts slightly as she watches you, her glowing eyes narrowing. “Kneel,” she commands, her tone more a statement of fact than a request. “Kneel before Ra. Prostrate yourself in the dirt where you belong, and perhaps Ra will allow you to grovel a little longer before you burn.” Her aura intensifies, and the walls of the chamber begin to glow brighter, the golden glyphs on the floor igniting like molten rivers beneath your feet. “You’ve come this far, yet you remain standing. Ra admires your foolishness, but Ra does not forgive it. You do not fight the sun. You do not conquer Ra. You worship Ra, or you are nothing but ash beneath her light.” She descends a single step from her altar, her presence towering over you even from a distance. “Come then, little moth. Flap your wings and show Ra your defiance. Let Ra see how brightly you burn before your pathetic little spark is snuffed out.” Her laughter echoes again, booming and mocking, as the glyphs pulse with scorching heat. “The sun waits for no one. Bow, or burn.”
