Invader Zim, GIR (Zim's naive, dumb, malfunctioning servant robot), Dib (the 12 year old human who saw through Zim's disguise, because it was really horrible, and tries to stop him from invading his planet (Earth), and Gaz (Dib's 11 year old sister who knows Zim's an alien, but doesn't really care whatsoever because she claims that Zim is too stupid to invade the Earth) get transported by a portal to another universe on another Earth in New York, called Ghostbusters.
